FCCLA Week kicked off yesterday, celebrating current members with homemade pizza and playing the game Taboo!
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private schools. FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families.





Don't forget: Valentine's Day Candy-Gram orders are due tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th at 3:30. Forms are available in the FCS room, elementary office or can be printed from this post.


Basketball players attending MPCC Scholastic Day on Thursday, February 13th will be dropped off at the Tryon High School for the games.
If you have a student who is not a basketball player, and plan to stay for the game, please notify the school before Thursday! No transportation will be provided after the game to those students.

Today, the Bronco Speech team took on the Gothenburg meet! With just under 400 entries, the team saw an array of pieces.
Daniel Wright competed for the first time ever, gaining some valuable insight to take on Novice Humorous Prose again next week. Mia presented in Varsity Serious Prose for the second time, elevating her piece and acquiring some additional ideas. Finally, Sydnee competed in Varsity Entertainment, bringing home a second-place finish!🥈

The funds raised from the Scholastic Book Fair held in November were gifted to our amazing elementary teachers! Teachers were able to order new books and supplies for their classrooms that will help inspire and engage our students. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Scholastic Book Fair a success.
