LAST WEEK FOR ORDERS!!!!!!!!!!! MULLEN GRADE SCHOOL FUNDRAISER/START OF MULLEN MARKINGS BUSINESS Mullen Elementary School is organizing a spring fundraiser to supplement the cost of awards and prizes for our students. We will be using our new school business Mullen Markings to custom laser your name on your Mullen Bronco mugs. This fundraiser will help pay for incentives like our WIN Time Awards (What I Need Time), Pizza With The Principal, NSCAS awards, etc. At the same time, our Mullen Markings business at the high school is kicking off its opening by using the laser engraver to make four different designs on three styles of mugs. You can customize your name on every mug or use the generic Mullen Broncos as shown in the link. You will need to submit each order individually. Example: If you would like to purchase 3 mugs, you will need to do three separate orders. Please note that the money for your mug(s) is due to the high school or elementary school office before your mug will be engraved. Please have checks made out to Mullen Public Schools. We had a smaller group this month, but we learned about blood. The kids were able to create a model of the 4 components of blood using candy to represent the different parts. We would like to thank the Nebraska Library Commission and Prairie STEM for the kits!

Mullen FCCLA had a great day at the District 10 STAR Competition. STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition and serves as one of the competitive events in FCCLA. 10 students traveled to Thedford on January 22nd to compete against others from across the area. All 10 qualified for the state competition in April in Lincoln. Scoring is based on a rubric out of 100 points, so there may be several gold, silver or bronze medalists in each division.
