*****BRONCO UPDATE***** Tonight, the Mullen Lady Broncos will play the first two volleyball games in Merna beginning at 5:30 vs Anselmo Merna, and then play South Loup beginning at 6:30. A-M has sectioned off the gym into three areas and they are only allowing Mullen fans who have a Mullen COVID-19 pass given only to players for their immediate family and friends. Mullen fans will occupy the South Bleachers on the west side. A-M would like to ask Mullen fans to take off after the girls finish their second game. MONDAY JV Football @ Maxwell 5:00
1. Maxwell is allowing fans outside at football games. Masks are not mandatory. No paper programs and no admissions. They will have a free will donation bucket. No concessions. Our fans enter the east entrance and sit on the south side.
It was a great start to the year for Bronco Cross Country at the Scottsbluff Invitational. Callie Coble placed 4th and Josey French placed 10th in the Varsity girls division. Trevor Kuncl placed 1st, Hayden Jennings placed 24th, and Alex Moore finished 38th in the boys division. Peyton Paxton placed 4th, Tierston Moore placed 5th, Medora DeNaeyer finished 24th, Brooke Williams finished 47th, and Allie Boyer finished 56th for 3rd place as a team in the middle school girls division. Alex Werner finished 12th and Cayden Hampton finished 20th in the middle school boys division. Way to go Bronco XC and Coach Janie!!

Lady Bronco Volleyball will travel to Maxwell for a 3:00 MST Dual
With our volleyball game versus Sandhills/Thedford being cancelled due to COVID-19, we were able to secure a game at Maxwell tomorrow Thursday August 27 at 3:00 MST. We were fortunate to find a game and we are working hard to secure as many games as possible in case we are forced to cancel at some point in the season.
Only the VB girls will be able to attend. NO FANS WILL BE ALLOWED. They are allowing us to bring our Striv crew so we will send a crew to Striv the game on striv.tv/mullen

Sandhills/Thedford has just notifed us that the volleyball games scheduled for Friday August 28, 2020 have been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 case. As of this point, the football game is still on as scheduled. At this point in time, we have been told that zero members of the football team were in close contact of the positive case. We are working closely with the administrators from both Sandhills Community Schools and Thedford Public Schools. We will keep everyone informed as information is released to us. In the past we have had parents take the 7th and 8th grade sports pictures. This year Mrs. Andersen is going to be taking the JH sports pictures on August 25th (same day as All School Pictures). We will be sending the sports envelopes home with the students Monday.
