7th grader Kaisley Phipps, the daughter of Jordyn and Brett Phipps, was selected to be December’s student of the month. She was nominated as student of the month by Mullen staff during their monthly Leadership Council meeting. According to her teachers, Kaisley deserved this award for many reasons. She works hard in school and in athletics, she always helps her classmates when needed, and she’s very determined to do well and is always willing to try new things. Kaisley participates in volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country, as well as different academic activities, and strives to do the best she can. During the rest of Kaisley’s 7th grade year, Kaisley plans on working hard and staying determined to impress her teachers everyday.
“Kaisley consistently shows a high desire to do her best. Kaisley is very organized in her work and always willing to help her classmates when needed.” - Mr. Cribelli
“Kaisley has a great work ethic when it comes to her classwork and other activities. She can be depended on to be responsible and to help her classmates when needed.” - Mrs. Stichka
“Kaisley is a self-motivated and quiet student. She is attentive and detail-oriented. Her passion is in ranching and being outdoors. I really enjoy having her as a student in my classes.” - Mrs. Jewell
“Kaisley is very deserving of Student of the Month. She is always willing to help someone when they need it, both inside and outside of the classroom. Kaisley leads by example. She is always polite and respectful. She handles problems with maturity, and you can always count on her to get something done.” - Mrs. Vest
