8th hour art class got to watch a live demonstration of Knapping on Tuesday. They learned about rock types that work well, tools of the trade, and the history of rock knapped tools. A big thank you to Jon Musser for coming to present to the class! Jon also left a few tools and rocks for the kids to try out today, and they were excited to get started.

Our elementary staff decided to start a new tradition by giving out our elementary awards before our spring music concert. This will allow parents to make one trip to town and to give the elementary students their own spot light in front of the family and friends. #GoBroncos

The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, April 8, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.

The sophomores are learning how to collect water for well testing. We have partnered up with a program called "Know your well" that provides free domestic well testing through UNL. It was a fun day, and the kids learned about a valuable sandhills resource.
