Students returned today from their science field trip to Florida. Although tropical storm Alex caused a few minor changes to the trip, overall it went well. The kids took a tram through the Everglades, visited the Turtle Hospital, kayaked through the mangroves, dissected a squid, snorkeled off the coast of Key Largo, hand fed the tarpon in Islamorada, swam with dolphins, and several other activities! A special thanks to Mr. Taylor for accompanying Mrs. Hardin on this fun but busy trip.
If you’d like to see all of the pictures please follow the Mullen High School Florida Trip page.

Kassidy earned enough 5th grade classroom cash to be Superintendent Cheever this morning! She spent the morning with Mr Kuncl approving bills, checking operations, and watching the halls. She got asked if she could shorten the school year and in true Superintendent fashion she said “there’s only two days left, you can handle it” but she told us that she still want to be a vet when she gets older. Congrats Kassidy!
