Nebraska School Activities Association & Currency Announce 2024-25 Believers & Achievers LINCOLN – Currency and the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) are proud to announce the 2024-25 Believers & Achievers. Believers & Achievers is a statewide program designed to give recognition to Nebraska’s future leaders. Beginning in November and continuing through April, the 48 Nebraska high school seniors listed below will be honored as Believers & Achievers. From those 48 statewide winners, eight will receive $500 scholarships from Currency to use for the college or university of their choice at a scholarship banquet to be held in April of 2025. These 48 students will be recognized at NSAA State Championships throughout the 2024-25 activities year and on a poster sent to all NSAA member schools. Congratulations to Peyton Paxton

Today marked an inspiring gathering with Demoine Adams, the CEO of Teammates and a renowned motivational speaker. His session emphasized the importance of leadership and personal growth, reminding us that each day presents an opportunity to become better versions of ourselves. Demoine shared his experiences and insights on effective leadership, highlighting key qualities such as empathy, resilience, and the ability to inspire others. His engaging storytelling and practical strategies resonated with attendees, encouraging them to reflect on their own leadership styles and how they can foster growth within their teams. As he spoke about the challenges leaders face, Demoine emphasized that every obstacle is a chance for learning and development. He urged everyone to embrace these moments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement both personally and professionally. The event left students motivated and equipped with valuable tools to enhance their leadership skills. It was a reminder that growth is a journey, and with the right mindset, each day can be a stepping stone toward greatness. Overall, Demoine Adams inspired us all to commit to our own growth and to lead with purpose, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

8th grade students in FCS have been hard at work learning how to operate a sewing machine while making pants or shorts that fit properly. Students that finished early also got the chance to make a keychain using the embroidery machine from the STEM Lab. *not all keychains pictured
