Today the Junior class attended County Government Day. Students learned about Hooker County history, the offices of the county, and the resources available to them through the county. Thank you to the American Legion & Legion Auxiliary for the meal, and to all of the offices who helped prepare a great day of learning. We appreciate your dedication to the education of our students.

The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, November 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. (This meeting will be preceded by a workshop at 5:00 p.m. for purposes of conducting the evaluation of the superintendent). Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.

La Sociedad Honoraria Hispana (SPAIII) hosted a Day of the Dead workshop and presentation for the 7th grade this morning. Cempoalxochitl were carefully crafted to honor a wonderful fiesta.

Congratulations to the Mullen Broncos volleyball team on qualifying for State! With the school closed, the Read-a-Thon scheduled for Friday, November 7th, has been cancelled.

Students had a great time painting pumpkins for FCCLA's popcorn and paint during 9th hour. Congratulations to Kassidy for receiving the most votes for her painted pumpkin!

Congratulations to the Mullen Broncos on making it to STATE! With school closed, the Book Fair will be open during these new times!

The Botany class planted the first plants in the new geothermal greenhouse today! This included four citrus trees. Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the project-both in donations and in the construction. The kids are excited for the amazing new learning space!
