Yesterday we had the privilege of helping out at the Open Door Mission, and I couldn’t be more proud of these amazing students who showed up ready to make a difference. We had an incredible time working with the Toys for Joy Project, sorting toys so kids have an incredible Christmas.

The National Honor Society asked and our community delivered! NHS collected 39 coats, 27 blankets and numerous pairs of gloves and hats during the Winter Warm-Up Drive.
These amazing students are headed to Omaha today to the Open Door Mission to deliver the items and serve for the afternoon, spreading warmth and kindness to those who need it most.

The new geothermal greenhouse isn't just for the plant science students. Today, the juniors analyzed methods for determining soil types and moisture levels for Earth Science.

Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Sportsmanship & Leadership Summit in Alliance. We heard amazing speakers discuss commitment, the power of personal behavior and triple threat leadership. So proud of our students for stepping up, engaging, and embracing what true leadership looks like!

Today, the Play Pro team competed in Tryon (McPhearson County). Although it was the first official performance, the hard work and dedication paid off! In addition to winning the MNAC champion title, Daniel Wright and Kassidy Cheever were named top actors, with Tate Kvanvig and Sydnee Cheever being named best supporting actors! Additionally, Lola Wingebach and Jaylon Forsen were recognized as outstanding actors! We are excited to implement some of the feedback and take on our public performance next. Mrs Hardin's science classes had their own "Glow Day" today! We've always been a little envious of the fun the elementary has with these celebrations, so we tried a high school version. Students worked through regular lessons--just with a little extra glow!

The preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade teams spent a wonderful Saturday listening to Dan St. Romain present. It was an excellent conference—we learned so much and truly enjoyed our time together.


Kindergarten and 1st grade worked hard harvesting marigold seeds this afternoon!





The kindergarten class has been learning about plants, and it was so fun to have Mrs. Jewell and the 7th grade girls come teach us more and share baby plants with us! 🪴
