Job tasks are varied, but involve aiding teachers and providing academic support for students. Mullen Elementary School is searching for a Special Education elementary paraprofessional to help with core interventions to combat learning loss. Pay varies depending on responsibilities and experience. Starting date will be January 3, 2024.

The seniors in Standards Science enjoyed learning about circuit boards and soldering last year so they convinced their teacher to let them do another project this year.
The juniors have been learning about circuit components in science and today completed their soldering projects. These holiday trees are always a rewarding project that they look forward to taking home!

The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. (This meeting will be preceded by a workshop at 5:00 p.m. for purposes of conducting the evaluation of the superintendent). Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.

Mrs. Walker put together a fantastic Christmas concert last night for the communuty. The K-5 students did a wonderful job of singing and having fun!
Today the Chemistry students baked molasses cookies after working on mole conversions. They had to convert the entire recipe from units such as atoms and grams per mole to teaspoons and cups. It's always a rewarding assignment!
