The Mullen Speech team had a successful day at districts in Wallace! They came home second runner-up as a team with the results as follows:

GYM CLOSED
The gym will be closed Friday, March 15th and reopen on Sunday, March 17th. The weight room will still be available all weekend. If you have questions, please call the high school office.

The Jr. High girls had the best day at Expanding Your Horizons at MPCC in North Platte! There were over 30 career professionals presenting today! Our students were able to learn about various careers from Animal Science to Nursing, from Outdoor Educator to Designer, from Welding to Entrepreneurship and everything in between. The also listened to a great keynote address by Lori Bergman from Double Dips Ice Creamery.

Today 10 Sophomores attended Connecting the Dots held at MPCC! In the morning, students participated in an interactive career exploration simulation and listened to career experts. In the afternoon, students were able to attend break-out sessions on resume building, motivated skills, and a tour of campus.

Pajama day in First


The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.

Congratulations to Jadyn, Ashlyn, Samantha, Malia, Medora, Sydnee, Orabella, Hope, and Coach Kyler for making the evening enjoyable. It's always inspiring to see the accomplishments and abilities of dedicated individuals. The speech night was a fantastic event, and it's wonderful to see the students showcase their talents.




Congratulations to MPS XC Coach Janie Kuncl on receiving the NSAA Champions in Coaching Award for Cross Country at the NSAA Class A semifinal basketball game at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Bronco nation is proud of you!


The sophomores are learning about how cellular respiration works in the body and cells. They are creating a group model to show what they have learned in the unit.



Congratulations to Kyle Finney on signing with Wesleyan University for cross country and track! It's a significant achievement, and I'm sure Kyle must be excited about the opportunities ahead. Best of luck to Kyle in his athletic endeavors and academic pursuits at Wesleyan University.


The 4th and 5th grade had a fun time doing a team building activity for Second Step. The students were split into groups of three and were given a limited amount of time, paper, and glue. The students had to work together and come up with the best plan to make the longest paper chain link they could.
